Calligraphy is a visual art related to writing. It is the design and execution of lettering with a pen, ink brush, or other writing instrument. A contemporary calligraphic practice can be defined as “the art of giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious, and skillful manner”

Calligraphy continues to flourish in the forms of wedding invitations and event invitations, font design and typography, original hand-lettered logo design, announcements, graphic designs etc.

Every form of calligraphy starts by creating a letter, and every letter is created by a series of strokes! In this class, we will be breaking down how to write calligraphy lettering stroke by stroke.

The types of calligraphy taught in our classes are: Old English Font calligraphy, Wave font, rounding font, Faux Calligraphy, Bubble font calligraphy, and other fonts can be added with the above as the foundation course based on individual’s interest. No previous calligraphy experience is required.
