Scratch is a graphic programming language developed at MIT. Scratch is a Block based programming for beginners to start with coding. Young students will enjoy the concept of designing animations, developing a game or story building with interacting characters. This course creates a beginner foundation in programming which can be used in other advanced languages.
We offer Scratch course with an objective of preparing the students to be technically strong in the features and to develop a story/game using scratch.
We take the step-by-step process in project management approach for the students to get their imaginations being laid out on a story board and detailing each frame with the details, features required in it. Analyze the features required to build their project and complete the coding, present their projects.
No previous programming skills are required; however, students should be comfortable using a computer.
Once students have completed Scratch, depending on grade level, we recommend Animation courses, Python language.
Benefits of Scratch:
Introduces children to coding basics
Enables creative expression through visual storytelling
Provides a supportive, frustration- free environment to learn coding building blocks
